Warranty Policy

At Luna Bathrooms, we are committed to supplying quality bathroom products backed by manufacturer warranties and the protections provided under the Australian Consumer Law.

Please read the information below regarding product warranties and how to make a warranty claim.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This Warranty Policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Manufacturer Warranties

Most products sold by Luna Bathrooms are covered by a manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty periods and coverage vary depending on the manufacturer and product purchased.

Please refer to the warranty information supplied with your product or the manufacturer's documentation for specific warranty terms and coverage.

Where applicable, Luna Bathrooms will assist customers in facilitating warranty claims with the relevant manufacturer.

Warranty Conditions

To remain eligible for warranty coverage, products must:

  • Be installed by an appropriately qualified and licensed tradesperson where required.

  • Be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions.

  • Be used only for their intended purpose.

  • Be maintained and cleaned in accordance with the manufacturer's care instructions.

  • Not be modified, misused, abused or improperly maintained.

Failure to comply with these requirements may void the manufacturer's warranty.

What Is Not Covered

Unless required under the Australian Consumer Law, warranties generally do not cover:

  • Damage caused by incorrect installation.

  • Damage resulting from misuse, neglect or abuse.

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Accidental damage.

  • Damage caused by improper cleaning products or harsh chemicals.

  • Damage resulting from unauthorised modifications or repairs.

  • Water damage caused by incorrect installation or maintenance.

  • Labour costs associated with removal, reinstallation or replacement.

  • Consequential or incidental loss or damage.

Warranty coverage is subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.

Inspecting Your Products

Customers should inspect all products immediately upon delivery or collection and before installation.

Any damage, shortages or incorrect items should be reported to Luna Bathrooms as soon as reasonably practicable.

Products should not be installed if they appear damaged or defective.

Luna Bathrooms cannot accept responsibility for damage resulting from the installation of products that were visibly damaged prior to installation, except where required under the Australian Consumer Law.

  • Additional photographs.

  • An inspection by an authorised representative.

  • Return of the product for assessment.

Warranty claims are assessed in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty conditions and the Australian Consumer Law.

Where a warranty claim is approved, Luna Bathrooms or the manufacturer may, at their discretion and where permitted by law:
